ABBYY Vantage
Web platform used by big companies for document processing automation. Vantage utilize the concept of skills:
Document skill – data extraction model for a specific document type
Classification skill – document classification model
Process skill – document workflow editor that use Classification and Document skills
I joined the Vantage team at the beginning of 2020. The project was at the stage of beta development.
My main goal 🎯 was to create UX/UI of Process skill.
Research
I started my research with the analysis of current ABBYY clients' workflows, because ABBYY expected that they would switch from another automation platform FlexiCaputure to Vantage.

Then I coducted automation market research. I focused on the most popular solutions available online and selected 4 key metrics.
Zapier workflow editor appeared to be both powerful and easy to use, so I suggested utilize their design approach.
